Dear GTTD:

The fabulous Miss Elly is doing wonderful!

She has grown to be such a big girl with an even bigger heart. She loves to wrestle with our fat cat, Max and play with our baby goats. We truly believe that our good fortune with Elly is directly related to her being in puppy foster care rather than a cold and lonely shelter.

Our experience has been so great that we are ready to get Elly a new doggy playmate! But first we have to get a bigger bed, since Elly thinks she has to hog all the covers. Thank you for helping us adopt the perfect dog for our family. We look forward to the next perfect match!!

Dear Going to the Dogs Rescue,

I just wanted to say Thank you so much for rescuing our new little girl "Zoe". She is so absolutely adorable. We are having so much fun with her and she has filled my heart with pure love. My husband who was a little unsure of a little dog like a Yorkie, is absolutely in love with her. She gives him kisses and she snuggles with him and she has him wrapped around her little paw. He won't even share her when he has her. She went on her first outing with us yesterday and everyone loved her so much. She has brought so much laughter back into our home since we had to let our Molly go...I just wanted to say that Deb was terrific and so was Mary. I can't thank them both enough..but my words are I love her with all my heart. My kids actually gave up some of their Christmas presents so we could get her. Which totally blew our minds. They are getting up early to take her out and they actually fight over who is taking her out next. They play with her and sometimes she makes them so tired and sometimes they make her so sleepy. My daughter Haylie is sewing her a little fleece jacket and wants to make more little cover ups for her. Zoe's grandparents absolutely love her as well they have been over like every other day to see her. I just wanted you all to know that she is in a home that will treasure this little puppy forever!!

Keep rescuing these little ones they truly do need you so you can place them in homes like ours! We have told several people about your rescue even one who is interested in being a foster mommy! Hopefully you may get some other people who will adopt from you. I know we will be calling you back in the spring/summer for a companion for Zoe! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!! We will send some pictures as soon as I put them on the computer! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving to all of you and your staff and helpers.

Closing in on one week and Hope is doing GREAT!!! She has exceeded all of my expectations. Her transition has been very smooth and she has made my son and I very happy. Some people questioned my choice to adopt Hope and now they are asking when they can come over to see her and "baby sit".

As you already know, she is very kind and seems to understand when she needs to be gentle around smaller children. She does snore and is a quite the bed hog but I wouldn't change anything about her.
